To the left are the ideas I came up with for my timeline jotted down in my sketch book. It shows 5 different size 3D cubes suspended from string that represent each day:
Day1-
Personal objects representing memories
Day2-
Drawing the personal objects
Day3-
Creating a time capsule using personal objects
Day4-
V&A memory palace exhibition
To
the right is my initial idea of creating the box using card, I wasn't happy
with the outcome so I proceeded to use a different medium to work with.
Here i have experimented with displaying my time line using a computer generated program that creates 3D cubes, i have incorporated images representing each day of the first week. I did initially attempt creating the boxes using card, but to my standards they looked too messy and together as one piece they didn't work.
Timeline, Rotating Cubes, Author's Own
The way you've displayed your timeline is very nice, had you had any experience using the software before? I think you approach each task in a new way each time which keeps your working looking successfully different and experimental. For these cubes I think they would look even better if they rotated in such a way so you could see all six faces, but you've created a good sized selection of them so I don't think that really matters.
