LensBasedMedia - Refining stories

On the last day of the Lens Based Media Transition we had prepared short story boards using 6 frames and photographs. My story board was based around Toystory's idea of toys coming to life, although this didn't follow the discussed template i enjoyed making it and i thought it was quite a good story.

Later on we had to refine our stories or change them completely if they didn't fit the "perfect story" template, as mine didn't fit this i felt it would be practical to change my story all together so that i had a beginning 4 obstacles and an ending. My story shows two characters, Snowballl and Mimi landing on the moon ready to carry out a mission, Mimi falls hungry and goes on a search for food in their rocket, to her dismay she finds that Snowball has eaten all the food. Snowball and Mimi argue and go there separate ways, then Mimi discovers their oxygen is running low, but she cant find Snowball anywhere. Finally she is reunited with Snowball and they go home hungry but happy.
I think the obstacles i presented the two characters with were fairly dramatic and if this sequence was produced into a longer film it could end up quite gripping and entertaining. Im sure if i had more time and more frames to create this story in, i could have made it a lot more interesting.
